Meet the incredible talent behind this year’s Catch Our Rising Stars Showcase. From inspiring performers to dedicated organizers, each brings their own unique story and passion to the stage.

Moravian

John Cole, Choreographer: Shim Sham, Moravian University


John Cole is a senior at Moravian University. He is majoring in political science and minoring in dance. He also works for Moravian University’s IT department part-time as a student technician. After he graduates, his goal is to gain admission to law school and pursue a career in law. Outside of school, John enjoys discovering new technology, experiencing the arts, and adventuring outdoors.

    Kutztown

    Liv LePore

    Liv LePore is a sophomore at Kutztown University, majoring in Secondary Education with a concentration in History. Previous roles include Featured in The SpongeBob Musical, Helen in Carrie, and Miss Honey in Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical. She loves taking part in many shows and spending time with friends and family. She would like to thank her friends and, most importantly, her parents for supporting her in everything she does.

       

      ACT

      Actors Creating Theatre (ACT) is Kutztown University's student run club for all things theatre!   Please see Instagram @act_ku.

      Lafayette

      Jiayu(Angel) Yan, Lafayette College, What Happens from the musical, The Notebook


      JIAYU(ANGEL)YAN  is a sophomore majoring in theater and is considering a double major in economics at Lafayette College. Recently, she is Lady Middleton in Sense and Sensibility, and was Watchperson in Much Ado About Nothing, assistant stage manager in Bright Star, ensemble of Rent (Marquis Players version) and participated as Xiaohong and Ensemble in Luxun the musical produced by Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

        Lafayette’s non-profit student-run theater group. Our club produces a musical each spring semester that is completely student-run, produced, and performed in! Proceeds from this musical, along with donations collected from drives and fundraisers, all go towards a charity in the Lehigh Valley.         Northampton

        Tiah Fontno is a Theatre major at NCC. Previous credits include The Addams Family Musical (Morticia), Sylvia (Kate), POTUS (Chris) and The Minutes (Ms. Johnson). She is very excited to be a part of representing NCC in the show! 

          Our Master of Ceremonies

           

          Agustin Rodriguez

           Most recently, Agustin Rodriguez starred in the feature thriller FETTERED, the new series Heavy Hitters, and is featured in Law & Order (2025).
          A native New Yorker, Agustin first discovered his passion for acting at HB Studio and immersed himself in New York’s vibrant theater and indie film scene. His breakout role came in Final Analysis, where he shared the screen with Richard Gere, Kim Basinger, and Uma Thurman. That pivotal opportunity brought him to Hollywood, where he built a successful career in film and television, working with Academy Award–winning actors and directors.
          One major highlight was his role as a series regular on ABC’s Moon Over Miami.
